Orange Developer API setup access

STEP 1 Orange Developer Account Creation

An Orange Developer account is necessary to gain access to Evolution Platform APIs: Orange Developer

STEP 2 Request an Invitation

Note

The Evolution platform – Console APIs are not public and visible currently. You need an invitation to see them and be able to consume them.

You need to contact your Orange representatives, and to provide with corresponding email used to create the Orange developer accounts.

STEP 3 Receive the invitation

You will receive the invitation from : noreply.developer@orange.com

You will be able to access the Evolution Platform -Console API on Orange Developer.

STEP 4 Click on USE this API Button

STEP 5 Create an application & accept terms & conditions

STEP 6 Add Evolution Platform- Console API by clicking on “+Add an API”

STEP 7 Validation is pending

At this step , an Orange Business action is needed to provide you with the API Key.

STEP 8 Once your subscription is approved by Orange Business teams, you receive the API Key

You will receive as well a confirmation when the subscription has changed to Approved.

STEP 9 Get App Client ID & Secret

On the application page you have just created, you will find a first level of security with a first Authorization header.

All information on that usage is detailed in the Getting Started section. An authorization token is used to authenticate your API traffic (coming from an application you have created) onto the Orange API security gateway. It is required on every API request you send.

  • To retrieve it, click the “Show” button and confirm your password,
  • The security token to be used in every API request is displayed (you will need to use it without the keyword “Basic”).
