Virtual Network Functions (VNF)

Manage the complete lifecycle of Virtual Network Functions on the Evolution Platform.

Overview

The VNF API provides full control over VNF creation, configuration, provisioning, and monitoring:

  • Create & Update VNF instances from available models
  • Provision / Deprovision VNFs into the infrastructure
  • Allocate IP addresses before provisioning when required by the model
  • Monitor virtual devices in real time (CPU, disk, memory, network, status)
  • List VNFs scoped by project or across an entire tenant

  • Single: Single virtual device
  • Dual: Redundant pair for high availability
  • Cluster: Multi-node distributed deployment
