Evolution Platform enables you to deploy multiple services. But to truly move in unison, these services must be interconnected seamlessly.
That's where Network Connect comes in.
Network Connect is a modular, on-demand connectivity service at the core of the Evolution Platform.
It allows you to create VPNs easily through a portal or an API, connecting your EVP services across Orange's global network. With different coverage levels, it helps you chain services together, build end-to-end solutions, and adapt your infrastructure quickly.

Coverage levels

You can choose the coverage level according to your needs:

  • Local: When all the attached services are in the same SuperPoP or in the same city.
  • Regional: When the attached services are in two different countries but within a single region. For example: Service A in France and Service B in Italy: You should select the "Europe" region.
  • Global: When the attached services are in different regions.

Use cases

You can enable connection between your VNFs located within the same SuperPoP, by setting up a local VPN and attaching each VNF, such as firewalls and routing functions, to this local VPN.

You can connect your VNF to a public cloud through a regional VPN. You need to provision the VPN, then attach each service, such as those in Frankfurt and Paris, to this VPN.

You can enable connection between your VNFs within the same SuperPoP through a local VPN and connect your VNF to a public cloud located in another region through a global VPN. First, you provision a local VPN in London, attaching your VNFs like firewalls and routing functions. Then, you set up a global VPN to link this local VPN to cloud connectors.
