Available VNF Models​

Checkpoint Cloudguard

Firewall virtual network function. Supports single, dual and cluster deployment modes. Version 81.20.

Aviatrix Edge Gateway

Cloud Connector for multi-cloud connectivity. Available as Edge Gateway and Wan Connect variants. Versions 7.0 – 8.1.

Audiocodes Mediant VE

Session Border Controller virtual network function. Supports single and dual deployment modes. Versions 7.40A.250 – 7.40A.501.

Overview​

The VNF Model API is tenant-scoped and lets you:

  • List all available VNF models with optional filtering
  • Get a specific model by its identifier
  • Filter by vendor name, vendor model, or type

Model Attributes​

Each VNF model includes:

  • Identity: UUID, name, description
  • Type: e.g. Firewall, Router, SD-WAN (max 30 characters)
  • Category: STANDALONE or ENABLER
  • Vendor: Vendor name and model designation
  • Versions: Available model versions, each with supported flavors
  • Deployment modes: single, dual, or cluster
  • Zones: Sorted list of available geographic zones
  • Virtual devices: 1 or 2 virtual device definitions with characteristic requirements
  • IP allocation: whether pre-allocation is required before provisioning
  • Deprecated: whether new VNF creation from this model is blocked
