Private Self made Cloud Connectivity - Edit resource
In this guide, we will walk you through the steps to modify a cloud connector in designed status.
From the Inventory, select the cloud connector
Only a cloud connector in Designed status can be modified.
Select the cloud connector in the inventory and click on the three dots on the right and click on Edit resource.
Step 1 : Project
You can't change the project attached to a cloud connector. You have to create a new cloud connector with the corresponding project.
Step 2 : Modify Cloud connector parameters
The process is identical to that of creation, except for the connector type (flavor), which cannot be modified.
After clicking on Continue.
Step 3 : Cloud configuration
Apply the following process:
- Choose the GCP location with Orange
- Finalize the configuration by selecting your bandwidth
Click on Continue button.
4. Connectivity parameters
Selection of the Pairing Key
Select the Pairing Key used to connect the Cloud connector.
⚠️ Important
Only Pairing Keys with the status "Waiting for partner" can be selected.Field Descriptions

Routing Policy
Select the routing policy to apply:
| Routing Policy | Description |
|---|---|
| Basic Aggregate | Only aggregated RFC1918 prefixes are advertised |
| Default Route | Only the default route is advertised |
| No Aggregate | All VPN IP routes are advertised (may cause routing table overflow) |
Click on Continue when the configuration is correct.
Step 5: Summary and Pricing
On this screen, you will find on the right:
- a summary of the configuration
- a pricing estimate for the Cloud connector
Possible actions :
| Option | Description |

| Modification | Click on Modify on the section to adjust or on Back to return to previous pages |
| Cancellation | Click on Cancel |
| Saving | Click on Save as design to save the configuration. Provisioning can be launched later |
